Nancy Gibbs

Gibbs in 2015 Nancy Reid Gibbs (born January 25, 1960) is an American essayist, speaker, and presidential historian. She is the former Managing Editor for ''TIME'' magazine, a best-selling author, and commentator on politics and values in the United States. She is the co-author, with Michael Duffy, of ''The New York Times'' Bestsellers ''The Preacher and the Presidents: Billy Graham in the White House'' (2007) and ''The Presidents Club: Inside the World's Most Exclusive Fraternity'' (2012). Gibbs currently serves as the Lombard Director of the Shorenstein Center at the Havard Kennedy School of Government. She is also the Visiting Edward R. Murrow Professor of Press, Politics and Public Policy.
